
SlideShowPro Director Hosting operates as a subscription based service that can be subscribed to in 6, 12 and 24 month increments. Each duration gives you the same benefits and free support from our staff.
When you first purchase a SlideShowPro Director Hosting subscription you will receive setup instructions for your Director installation in a separate email. The email will contain instructions for what to do next. If after purchasing you don't see an email, check your spam/junk filter to see if the message landed there. If you still can't find it, your Account Center profile page includes the hosting setup URL in the left column.
When setting up your Director installation, you will be asked for administrator information (name, email address, etc). The email address you enter is important, for it will be used as the contact address all subscription expiration warnings. If you later add additional administrators or users in Director, the initial administrator will still receive the subscription expiry notifications (and nobody else). So it's important that the email address you enter when setting up the installation is valid.
Approximately 30 days prior to subscription expiration, the administrator for the Director installation will start receiving emails alerting them to the impending lapse of service. The email will contain instructions on how to re-subscribe. If the subscription is not immediately renewed, additional emails will be sent to the administrator with increasing frequency until the final day.
When a subscription expires, any slideshow currently loading content from the Director installation will eventually cease to operate. A backup of your uploaded content and data will be maintained for a short amount of time in the event you didn't discover the problem until the slideshows stopped functioning.
Extensions to existing subscriptions can be purchased in 6, 12 or 24 month increments through the Account Center profile that purchased the initial subscription. You must sign-in to the Account Center using the username and password of that account in order to purchase a subscription extension. If you can't remember your profile login or have issues, contact us for assistance.
At this time, only one hosting subscription can be setup in each Account Center profile. If you purchase another subscription using an account that already has a subscription in it, that existing subscription will be extended.
To setup a completely separate installation, you will need to sign-out of the Account Center, click the "Buy" tab at the top right of http://slideshowpro.net, and create a new account as part of the checkout process. Note that each account in our member area needs a unique email address, so you will need to use a different one than the one currently assigned to your other profile.
