Is SlideShowPro Director a standalone product?

Yes! You can use it to upload photos and videos and then publish slideshows and photo galleries of your content using its universal media player system. This includes the SlideShowPro Player for Flash users, plus an HTML5 mobile player for iPads, iPhones and Android devices that is provided as a fallback. If you want more creative control over the SlideShowPro Player than what Director offers, you can purchase one of the separate SlideShowPro Player products to load Director content.

Do I install SlideShowPro Director on my computer?

No. SlideShowPro Director must be installed on a supported web server.

How do I know if my web server will support Director?

See the Requirements topic and check the server compatibility test.

I need help setting up a database for Director to use. Can you help?

Because every web host is different, you will need to contact your web host for support.
