I purchased Director, and my profile shows a key. What is that?

That is your authentication key to install Director at a single domain. It can only be used for one domain. If you need to install Director at a second domain, you'll need to purchase additional licenses.

If I move my web site, can I transfer my key to a different domain?

Yes. See Transferring activation key.

When Director validates activation keys, does it send any other information?

No. Just information about the domain you've installed the software on.

Can I install Director on a client's web site?

Yes, provided that the client does not have access to the Director source code, or, if they do, the client has purchased their own license.

I have a number of web sites I'd like to install Director on. Do you offer any bulk discounts?

Yes. You can purchase our SlideShowPro Director Developer Pack, which includes 20 keys/licenses for SlideShowPro Director at a discounted price. All keys are generated at purchase, so you can easily grab one whenever you need to install SlideShowPro Director at a new domain.

I'd like to setup Director as a web service, and charge people to use it. Can I do that?

No. The license agreement does not permit Director to be used in this manner.

Can I modify the templates?

Yes, but the copyright at the bottom of the application must remain visible and present.
