SlideShowPro Director is a server-side content management and image publishing application that dynamically supplies SlideShowPro for Flash and SlideShowPro for Lightroom with content. The application is offered in two versions: "self-install" for your own web server (see requirements) or as a subscription through our Director hosting service. The software allows you to upload both images and video, organize them into albums and/or galleries (which are simply collections of albums), assign image metadata like captions, titles, and hyperlinks, and retrieve web-optimized slideshow content for multiple slideshows.
Director publishes images using its "on-demand image publishing system." You simply link SlideShowPro for Flash or SlideShowPro for Lightroom to the album and/or gallery you wish to load, and Director generates web optimized versions of your images automatically. This allows designers and developers to restyle / resize existing slideshows (or create new ones) any time they want without having to regenerate new images.
