If you do not want to use SlideShowPro Director's on-demand image publishing system when retrieving the "large" images in a slideshow, you can turn it off by setting the SlideShowPro Player's Director Large Publishing to "Original." If using SlideShowPro Player SWF, change the value of directorLargePublishing in param.xml to "Original", or assign it as a flashvar (learn more). SlideShowPro Director will still generate thumbnails for the navigation, link previews and album previews, but will return the original images you uploaded for your slideshow instead of creating new ones.
