If you have SlideShowPro Director installed on your own server, you may create your own custom style configuration files that may then be selected when publishing a slideshow. Here's how.
Connect to the server hosting SlideShowPro Director using your FTP client, then navigate to the "m/params/" directory. Inside you'll see the default slideshow styles the application comes with. Download the "default.xml" to your desktop.
Once downloaded, change the name of "default.xml" to whatever you like ("custom.xml", "dusk.xml", "corporate.xml"). Next, open the file in your favorite HTML editor (Notepad, Dreamweaver, TextWrangler, TextMate, etc), and edit any of the player options you see there. For a complete list of all SlideShowPro Player options and acceptable values, click here. When you're done editing, save the xml document.
With your custom edits made and saved, return to your FTP client. Upload your custom xml file to the same "m/params/" directory. Sign-in to the SlideShowPro Director in your web browser and publish a slideshow. You should then see your custom style in the "Style" drop-down.
If you need to make changes to your uploaded XML file, you may edit the file on your server through your FTP client. The next time you publish a slideshow and refresh your browser window your edits will be used.
