Some users like to create their own graphics album previews when using the "Fill" Album Preview Style. This style allows you to use an image for the entire area of each album element in SlideShowPro. (See the Pictorial gallery for an example). Director allows you to choose an image to use as your album preview, but what about a custom image that's not part of your slideshow content?
If you are using SlideShowPro for Flash, temporarily change the Gallery Appearance parameter to "Open at Startup" in the Component Inspector. Set Album Preview Style to "Fill" and Album Preview Scale to "Crop to Fit." The album previews will display their width and height. Using these values, create an album preview in a photo editing application like Photoshop, then upload it to your album in Director. When loaded, edit the image in the "Content" area, and select the "Use as album preview and remove from slideshow" option. Director will now use that graphic for your album preview.
If you are using SlideShowPro for Lightroom, there's unfortunately not a way to "see" what the album width/height is before creating your image (for the live preview in Lightroom is a real, working preview, and not the same as the one shown in the Flash version). With that, we recommend taking a screenshot of your gallery when open, measuring the area in Photoshop, and creating a graphic using those dimensions.
