If you are displaying thumbnail images in SlideShowPro's navigation, or want to show a preview slate of a video when loaded instead of auto-playing it , you will need to assign an image to your uploaded video. How this is done depends on the version of SlideShowPro Director you have installed (see application footer for version number).
Click on the "Content" sub-navigation link in the album containing your video. Next, double-click on the video you want to edit. Under the "Video previews" header will be the large and thumbnail sized preview images of your video. If your server supports FFmpeg, the images will be using a still frame from the video. If the server doesn't support FFmpeg, you will see placeholder images. You may edit the previews by clicking on the images and either selecting a different video keyframe (if FFmpeg is supported) or upload/assign a different image.
When finished, the assigned image will be used for both the video's preview graphic and any place where a thumbnail is needed (like SlideShowPro's navigation). If you need to assign a different image for the thumbnail version, click on the "Thumb" image, then repeat the same process.
After assignment, video preview images remain in the album as album content, but their appearance is set to "Inactive" so they don't appear as slideshow content.

Click on either the "Large" or "Thumb" image that has been assigned to a video. A dialogue will appear with an option to remove the assigned preview image. When clicked, the video preview will revert to its default image. You may also remove a preview image by editing the preview image itself, and clicking the "Remove" button contained therein.
First, upload an image (if one isn't in Director already) to the album containing the video. Then in the "Content" area, click and hold on the image you want to use, drag it over the video you wish to assign it to, and release. The image will then be removed from the album's content. When the video is loaded in SlideShowPro, the assigned image will be used in SlideShowPro's navigation as well as the video preview in the .
