In addition to publishing slideshows from Director, you can also load the albums and galleries you've created in Director in any of our SlideShowPro Player products. We'll explain how here.
The first step is to copy the "XML file path" to the album/gallery you want to load. Click on the "Albums" or "Galleries" tab in Director's main navigation, then click the "Publish" button in the row of the content you want. A window will appear (shown right) asking if you want to publish a slideshow from Director or copy its path. Click the "Copy" button. The path is now on your clipboard.
Now let's assign the path to the SlideShowPro Player.

Launch Flash, and create a new FLA document. Create an instance of the SlideShowPro Player on the Stage by dragging/dropping the "SlideShowPro" component from the Components panel (Window > Components). Click on the instance on the Stage to select it. If using Flash CS5, open the Properties panel (Window > Properties). Flash CS4 or older, the Component Inspector panel (Window > Component Inspector). Erase the "images.xml" value assigned to XML File Path, click inside the field, and paste your clipboard. Underneath that, change XML File Type to "Director". Publish a movie, and you should see your Director content in the component!

Click on the "Web" link in Lightroom's top navigation, then select SlideShowPro Player for Lightroom from the gallery drop-down. When the plugin loads, scroll the right column all the way to bottom until you see the XML File Path. Erase the index.xml value in the field, then paste your clipboard into the field. Underneath that, change XML File Type to "Director". In the center of Lightroom the live preview of the SlideShowPro Player will update with your Director content.
Parameters are assigned to SlideShowPro Player SWF either through the flashvars in the player embed code, or with a separate XML file containing parameters (we explain both here). Whichever method you use, you need to assign an xmlFilePath parameter with the path you copied from Director, then assign "Director" as the value of the xmlFileType parameter. Save your edits and reload the HTML document embedding the SWF. You should now see your content loading.
Create a new gallery in SlidePress, and paste your clipboard into the field labeled "XML Source". Next to that, select "Director" in the drop-down. Save or update your gallery, then embed in a WordPress post or page. You should now see your Director content.
SlideShowPro Director automatically publishes web-optimized content that is formatted for the exact dimensions the SlideShowPro Player needs, both in normal and full screen modes. If for some reason you need to turn off the large image publishing, you can with the Director Large Publishing parameter. Additionally, you can control the output quality and sharpness of the images Director creates by modifying Director Large Quality / Sharpening and Director Thumb Quality / Sharpening.
