Component size

One of the most important topics to learn when first using SlideShowPro is size. Both the dimensions of the component itself and the display options you choose when publishing your slideshow affect how large or small your images are when displayed.

Resizing

To resize SlideShowPro Player for Lightroom, open the "Output Settings" panel. Under the "Dimensions" header are two fields labeled SlideShowPro Width and SlideShowPro Height. The values you enter here will resize / refresh the preview to show your changes.

Content Area size

When SlideShowPro Player for Lightroom's size changes you are also changing the dimensions of the dominant empty space where your slideshow content appears. This empty space is known as the "Content Area." It plays an important part in how SlideShowPro Player for Lightroom loads content, which we'll now explore in detail.

To increase the size of the Content Area, and thus make more room for your images, either increase the size of the component, modify Captions so they're not inline (if changed from the default setting), or modify the NAVIGATION/Appearance option to "Visible on Rollover" so that the navigation is only in view (and layered above your content) when the user moves their mouse pointer near its position.

For more information on the Content Area and the style / interactivity options available to you, see the Content Area chapter.
