This document contains suggestions to common error messages displayed by SlidePress.
This error appears if SlidePress doesn't have permission to create its requisite folders after activation. To solve the issue, first deactivate SlidePress from the Plugins page. Next, manually create the following folders in your WordPress install using an FTP client:
wp-content/uploads/slidepress/flash wp-content/uploads/slidepress/xml wp-content/uploads/slidepress/templates
Next, upload the slideshowpro.swf from the SlideShowPro Player SWF archive to the "flash" directory you created above.
If you installed SlidePress automatically through the WordPress plugins directory, manually download the plugin from here:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/slidepress/
Open the "templates" directory inside, and upload all the XML files contained inside to the "templates" directory you created above.
With all the above complete, return to the Plugins directory and re-activate SlidePress. The error should now go away.
