imageInactiveAlpha

imageInactiveAlpha [read-write]

Description

The alpha transparency of a thumbnail image when the thumbnail is "inactive" (the default state when neither selected nor rolled-over by the mouse pointer). By setting this to a number lower than 1, thumbnail images will tween up to full opacity when made active or rolled-over by the mouse, then return to the value of imageInactiveAlpha when inactive.

Acceptable values are between 0 and 1.

The default value is 1.

Implementation

public function get imageInactiveAlpha():Number
public function set imageInactiveAlpha(value:Number):void

Example

The following examples changes all thumbnail images to half-transparency when inactive.

my_tg.imageInactiveAlpha = 0.5;
